Qilin Capt. Benjamin Lee The qilin is a Chinese horned and hooved chimerical animal, often depicted as having flames over its body. It is a creature of good omen, bringing serenity and prosperity.
Qulliq Hanson, AN The qulliq, or seal oil lamp, is an important object of Inuit culture that appears also in the coat of arms of Nunavut. It was traditionally kept by the women, and provided light, warmth, and a source of cooking and melting water. It is still used as a ceremonial item.
